Andy Carpenter, Co-founder

 

Andy is a seasoned professional in ecommerce and digital marketing for both B2B and B2C markets. Before Co-founding Brandtransfer, he successfully led the ebusiness development for popular handbag and accessory maker Vera Bradley.

While working as a Sr. Consultant with Crowe Chizek, Andy led the successful launch of verabradley.com in January 2004, and was then recruited to join the company full-time to develop a new multi-channel ecommerce system. Verabradley.com
was successfully re-launched in February 2006, and featured an in-house ecommerce platform, integrated with third-party logistics and call centers.

Under his leadership, verabradley.com has become one of the world’s largest online retailers. The site debuted on the Internet Retailer 500 list at #493 in 2007, jumped to #240 in 2008, and is on-track to rank within the top 200 for 2009.

 

Andy has also worked on projects for some of the countries top companies, including: steelcase.com, dow.com, lfg.com (Lincoln Financial Group), and hermanmiller.com.

Scott Templar, Co-founder


Scott is a long time entrepreneur with a proven track record of building online revenue channels for leading brands. Prior to Co-founding Brandtransfer, Scott spent two-years on special assignment with Vera Bradley to lead ecommerce innovation - including: the development of new online revenue channels, identify and launch key social media channels, research Web 2.0 technology, and assist with the development of a long-term multi-channel strategy.


During this period, Vera Bradley was able to recognize a major lift in new, incremental revenue channels – including Affiliate, Paid Search Marketing, and Comparison Shopping Engines.

 

Scott has a broad range of business experience - including 15 years as owner of sales and marketing consulting company Active Marketing Group, where he worked with wide range of clients including: State Farm Insurance, Scent-Lok, FujiFilm, Vera Bradley, Cascade Engineering, LionForce Building Systems and more. Additional experience includes five years as owner and manager of Slingshot Bicycle Company, a manufacturer and multi-channel retailer of high-performance bicycles.
